12 Great Questions to Ask Employees to Assess Employee Engagement

You don’t have to be an undercover boss to find out what your employees think of your organization.  Employees are willing to give their all when they feel genuinely appreciated and when they’re asked for their opinion.

To understand how engaged your employees are the following are 12 recommended questions to ask your employees:

  • Do you have the tools you need to do your job?
  • Are you being rewarded and recognized for your performance?
  • Do you know what is expected of you?
  • Do you enjoy coming to work?
  • Do others treat you with respect at work?
  • Does your manager provide you with appropriate feedback?
  • Does your manager keep you informed and up-to-date?
  • Do you feel valued at COMPANY?
  • Do you get a sense of personal accomplishment from your work?
  • Are development opportunities available to you?
  • Do you feel you can advance at COMPANY?
  • Is my workplace a family-friendly place to work?

Listen to all the answers to these questions and you’ll have a better understanding of how engaged your employees are and what motivates them.
